Thank you for your interest in attending DMDU 2020!
This year we have been witnesses of the unprecedented and of the unexpected. This has reaffirmed the importance of the work the society does and of the immense effort still ahead of us.
This year’s annual meeting is centered on the theme “New Ideas, Frontiers and Transformations”.
You will find in our program a rich collection of new ideas on how to apply DMDU methods to new fields, including COVID-19, decarbonization, complexity, political science, among many others.
You will also find many new faces among the participants. Brilliant academics and practitioners from all regions of the world who are working hard to continue expanding the frontiers of the field.
Finally, without doubt this has been a year of transformations, in particular for the annual meeting. Although digital, submissions by members of the society have resulted in an engaging and dynamic forum that we are certain you will enjoy and take advantage of.
We believed we have risen to the challenge posed by COVID 19, and that the Society -- as well as our field -- will continue to grow stronger.
See you in November!
Yours,
